About
Meet Dr. Hussain
KidsDocTelehealth is a one-pediatrician practice — every visit is with the same doctor, not a rotating pool of providers.
Dr. Maria Hussain, MD
Board-certified pediatrician and founder of KidsDocTelehealth.
Dr. Hussain is an ER-experienced pediatrician who works as a pediatric emergency physician and hospitalist. She also teaches medical students and pediatric residents as a clinical instructor. She started KidsDocTelehealth to give Maryland and D.C. families a faster way to reach a pediatrician for the everyday illnesses and parenting questions that don't need an ER visit.

Why KidsDocTelehealth
Why a hospital pediatrician built a telehealth practice
Between ER shifts and hospital rounds, Dr. Hussain kept seeing the same pattern: families turning to the ER or urgent care for things that didn't need either — just a few minutes with a pediatrician who could say "here's what's going on, here's what to do." KidsDocTelehealth is built around that: one doctor, real availability, honest pricing.
